Sitime’s Sit5301 and Sit5302
Now available from MSC, Sitime’s Sit5301 and Sit5302 Stratum 3-compliant silicon MEMS oscillators are designed for use in demanding telecommunications and network technology applications.
Potential applications include SONET, synchronous Ethernet-based core and edge routers and wireless base stations, as well as IP timing and intelligent smart grid applications.
The Sit5301 covers the lower frequency range from 1–60MHz, while the Sit5302 covers the higher frequency range from 60–220MHz.
MSC claims that the oscillators, which are also offered in a 2520 compatible package, are the world’s smallest ±100ppb oscillators at 60 per cent smaller than conventional Stratum 3 TCXOs.
