MSC introduces RoHS-compliant quartz crystal suitable for use in space-sensitive equipment

MSC is now offering Micro Crystal’s CM7V-T1A device, a 32.768kHz quartz crystal that is designed for use in space-sensitive healthcare, industrial, telecommunications and navigation products.
The RoHS-compliant quartz crystal — which is said to ensure a high accuracy of ±10ppm at 25°C — has a package height of just 0.65mm and a footprint of 3.2 x 1.5mm.
Offering a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, the lead-free device is fully compliant with the AEC-Q200 quality standard for automotive applications.
According to MSC, the CM7V-T1A offers a low ageing first year of ±3ppm maximum and a 5,000g shock and vibration resistance.
