IDT offers oscillators suitable for use in cloud computing and networking equipment

Oscillators
Integrated Device Technology (IDT) has launched a range of oscillators that are suitable for cloud computing, consumer applications requiring multiple outputs, and communications and networking equipment that require low phase jitter.
The units’ piezoelectric microelectromechanical system (pMEMS) resonator technology uses the strong electromechanical coupling of the piezoelectric material with the low damping of single crystal silicon to create a passive frequency source.
The pMEMS resonators are hermetically-sealed wafer level package resonators, which makes the units suitable for replacing quartz-based oscillators.
IDT’s oscillators are housed in standard pin- and function-compatible plastic packages, which the company says increase design flexibility.
