Fox crystal oscillators come in reduced package

FXO-LC32 LVDS oscillators

Fox Electronics has released the FXO-LC32 series LVDS oscillators as an expansion of the XpressO XO LVDS oscillators line.

The 2.5V Xpresso crystal oscillators come in a reduced 3.2 x 2.5mm package with stabilities as tight as +/-25ppm and feature industry-standard packaging, including footprint and pin out.

The Xpresso oscillators come in a frequency range of 0.75MHz to 1.0GHz and offer frequency resolution to six decimal places.

FXO-LC32 oscillators utilise a range of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), designed and developed by Fox to reduce noise.

Fox's 2.5V LVDS oscillators have reduced noise levels via the third-order Delta Sigma Modulator (DSM) comparable to those of traditional bulk-quartz and SAW oscillators.

They also offer low jitter of less than 1pS.

With an operating temperature range of -20 to 70C or -40 to 85C, the fully RoHS- and Reach-compliant Xpresso XO, LVDS oscillators are suitable for a range of applications requiring an oscillator, including SONET, Ethernet, storage-area network, fibre-channel, test and measurement equipment, industrial controllers, microprocessors/DSP/FPGA and broadband access.

The 2.5V FXO-LC32 oscillators offer a tri-state enable/disable feature that allows the user to turn off the output.

The oscillator contacts are constructed with gold-over-nickel finish.

Fox's serial-identification system provides traceability back to its original manufacturing lot to ensure quality control.
