Frequency control specialist Euroquartz has launched two series of surface-mount positive emitter coupled logic (PECL) oscillators for applications such as Ethernet, broadband access, microprocessors, digital signal processors, field-programmable gate arrays, industrial controllers and test and measurement equipment.
The HPK5361 and HPK5761 series oscillators are designed to offer ultra-low phase noise of -138dBc/Hz at 10kHz and femtosecond integrated phase jitter of 200fs typical.
Offering frequencies from 40Hz to 200MHz, the instruments feature differential PECL square-wave output logic and operate from a 2.5V or 3.3V power supply.
According to the company, devices capable of operating over commercial (-10°C to +70°C) and industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature ranges are available, with frequency stability of ±25ppm, ±50ppm and ±100ppm for each.
