AVX CX3225xx series crystal oscillators
DMTL is supplying the CX3225xx series of crystal oscillators from AVX that are suitable for use in the design of automotive safety, engine management and communications systems, as well as automotive remote keyless entry systems, automotive ECU, air bag and multimedia applications.
The low-profile, surface-mount units measure 3.5 x 2.5mm, operate at up to 54MHZ and are available in two and four terminal variations, and as AEC-Q200 qualified components.
There are three key models in the series — the CX3255GA (with a frequency range of 9.8–54MHz), the CX3225CA (also 9.8–54MHz) and the CX3225SB (12–54MHz).
The CX3255GA provides a frequency deviation ±30ppm at 25ºC and ±150ppm across a temperature range of -40 to 125ºC, and has a maximum height off the board of 0.95mm. The CX3225CA operates at a temperature range of up to 125ºC and has a height off the board of 0.9mm. The CX3225SB features a frequency deviation of ±15ppm at 25ºC, operates at up to 150ºC and has a height off the board of up to 0.6mm.

The LTC6946 from Linear Technology is a low-noise 5.7GHz phase-locked loop (PLL) with a fully integrated VCO, including a reference divider, a phase-frequency detector with phase-lock indicator, an ultra-low-noise charge pump, an integer feedback divider and a VCO output divider. The charge pump contains selectable high- and low-voltage clamps that are useful for VCO monitoring.
