PRC series power rocker switches
Tyco Electronics has introduced the PRC series power rocker switches to provide optimum protection against dust and liquids.
PRC series switches are sealed to IP66 and feature easy to install snap-in mounting to a 21.2 x 36.6mm panel cutout.
Available in SPST, SPDT, DPST and DPDT contact configurations, the switch devices provide screw, solder or quick connect terminals, as well as various rocker markings.
Fully ROHS compliant, PRC series switches are rated 20A at 125V AC and 10A at 250V AC.
Mechanical life is 100,000 operations minimum.
Actuation force is 400 up to 2900g and the operating temperature range is -20 up to +80C.
The devices are suitable for applications such as industrial machinery, lighting, HVAC equipment, outside power supplies and gardening tools.
