PCN relay
A low-cost enhancement to the highly successful 5mm range from Tyco Electronics, the PCN relay takes up minimal PCB real estate.
A low-cost enhancement to the highly successful 5mm range fromTyco Electronics, the PCN relay takes up minimal PCB real-estatein applications such as heating controllers, interface elements, timers, PLCs and microPLCs, I/O modules and I/O ports.
Configuredas a single pole, NO (normally open) contact, the relay has arated switching current of 3A, with a load range from 1mA to 3A.The PCN relay features a bifurcated AgNi, cadmium free contact, rated voltage of 250V AC, maximum breaking voltage of 277V AC,maximum breaking capacity of 1250VA, nominal coil voltage of 5 to24V DC, nominal coil power of 120mW and a minimum contact load of5V/1mA.
Dielectric strength between coil and contacts is 3000VRMS.
Clearance/creepage is 3.5mm.
Weighing just 3g, the relaysconform to flammability class UL94V0 and are insulated to IEC664and VDE0110.
Other features include an operating temperaturerange of -30 to +70C, mechanical life of 20 million operationsand a bounce time of less than 1ms.
PCN relays are washtight toprotection category IEC61810.
