The Schrack PE series of single-pole 5A power PCB relays is now available in a single-coil polarised bistable design.

Dimensionsof 20 x 10mm with a height of 10mm are identical to those of themonostable relay and therefore the same space saving features areoffered with the added benefit of a bistable coil for use inapplications where coil power or heat dissipation is a criticalfactor.
This Schrack power PCB relay offers insulation to IEC255,and 4kV coil to contact dielectric strength, for use inindustrial electronics, measurement and control, room temperaturethermostats and white goods.
The maximum breaking capacity is1250VA, (5A at 250V AC) with a maximum switching voltage of 440VAC.
Constructed with cadmium-free AgNi contacts, the rugged relayhas a single C/O contact and operates in the ambient temperaturerange of -40 to +85C.
For reliable operation, it is protected toIP40 (IP67 available on request) and has a mechanical lifeexpectancy of 5 million operations.
There is a choice of coilvoltages ranging from a nominal of 2.2 to 24V DC, with a typicalpower consumption of 360mW.
