V3 and V4 microswitches
Arcolectric has a comprehensive new range of snap-action microswitches available in industry-standard V3 and V4 packages.
Arcolectric has a comprehensive new range of snap-action microswitches available in industry-standard V3 and V4 packages.
These two new expanded ranges offer greater choice with more lever options and operating pressures to extend their potential applications.
Tested to at least one million operations and manufactured from UL94V0 rated flame retardant materials, these switches can be used in the most demanding of applications.
The V4 industry standard package is rated up to 5A, 250V AC and is available for operating temperature ranges up to 85 or 125C.
Standard switching function is changeover (momentary one side) but other options are available for volume orders.
The V4 is available without lever (with standard actuator or a domed actuator) or with plain lever, roller lever or "snake" lever with operating forces of 0.8, 1.6 and 2.3N, further configurations are available for large volume orders.
Terminations include 2.8mm tabs, solder tabs and straight or angled PCB spills.
The V3 package is rated up to 16A, 250V AC and is also available for 85 and 125C maximum operating temperatures.
Three switching functions are offered: changeover (momentary one side), normally open (momentary on), normally closed (momentary off).
The V3 is available without lever, with plain lever, roller lever and with "snake" lever with operating forces of 0.5, 1, 2 and 3.4N, and further configurations are available on request.
Extensive terminal styles include solder tabs, 4.8 and 6.3mm tabs and RAST 5 tabs (6.3mm tabs on 5mm pitch).
Further options for both types include: gold plated contacts, additional lever shapes and other terminal types.
Both sizes of switch have VDE and UL approvals and are fully RoHS compliant.
