FTR-P6
The FTR-P6 ultraminiature surface mount automotive relay measures just 11.8 x 8.8 x 10.3mm, making it 33% smaller by volume than the FTR-P3 through-hole relay.
New from Fujitsu, the FTR-P6 ultraminiature surface mount automotive relay measures just 11.8 x 8.8 x 10.3mm, making it 33% smaller by volume than the company's FTR-P3 through-hole relay.
The relay's patented design features an efficient magnetic circuit structure that enhances relay performance and enables the reduced size.
As a result, the FTR-P6 consumes 800mW of power and has a contact rating of 25A (14V DC) at locked motor load for 100,000 operations.
The FTR-P6 is capable of handling a maximum inrush current of 35A.
The relay also has a maximum acoustic noise level of 60dB at 5cm, which allows for use in a car's interior.
All features combined enable a single FTR-P6 to handle motor loads such as intermittent windshield wipers and motor reversal applications such as power windows, central door locks, electric sun roofs and power seats.
The relay's structure is optimised to withstand vibration, lead-free reflow soldering processes and to enable soldering reliability of over 15 years under the IPC-SM-785 5 standard.
In addition, its gullwing leads are compatible with lead-frame welding.
The FTR-P6 relay is designed to meet the new environmental criteria: no Freon, cadmium, bromine or lead is used in the relay or in its manufacturing process.
