The latest addition to Bulgin's Polysnap range of mains inlet modules incorporates a miniature circuit breaker.
The latest addition to Bulgin's Polysnap range of mainsinlet modules incorporates a miniature circuit breaker.
Polysnapmodules have previously used conventional fused inlets but thiscircuit breaker version now provides an alternative whereresettable circuit protection is required.
Two styles areavailable: one with IEC60320 C14 or C16 (hot condition) inletsand one with a C20 inlet.
The C14/C16 versions snap-fit into arectangular panel cutout measuring 34 x 40mm.
Stepped fixingssuit 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0mm thick panels.
The circuit breakersare available with 5.0, 8.0, 10.0 or 15.0A trip currents and havea typical trip speed of 0.3-1.8s with a 600% overload at 25C.
Thehigher current C20 version fits a 34 x 56mm panel cutout and thecircuit breaker can be specified with 5.0, 8.0, 10.0, 15.0, 16.0or 20.0A trip currents.
Rocker options included red and greenillumination with 125 or 250V neons and nonilluminated types bothwith reset and off legends.
The circuit breaker and mains inletcarry UL and CSA approvals.
These new additions further extendthe Polysnap range offering a very adaptable and flexiblesolution to panel design.
With over 26,000 combinations, thecompact design of Bulgin's Polysnap occupies just theminimum of panel area with a single rectangular mounting holeoffering easy installation.
