Available from TTI Europe, Kemet's new high temperature T499 tantalum chip capacitor series is designed for use in applications with operating temperatures up to 175C.
The product has the highest operating temperature of any surface-mount tantalum device currently available on the market.
Expanding on a portfolio of products from Kemet targeted at harsh environmental applications, T499 chip tantalum capacitors are suitable for under-bonnet automotive electronics, basestations and oil exploration equipment.
T499 capacitors are available in five EIA standard case sizes (A, B, C, D and X) and offer a capacitance range between 0.15 and 220uF, with voltage ratings between 6 and 50V.
Devices are available in RoHS-compliant versions and in standard Sn/Pb (5% Pb minimum) terminations.
