DMTL offers flame-retardant safety disc capacitors designed for pick and place systems
DMTL
SDC series
DMTL is offering Holystone’s SDC series of safety disc capacitors, which are designed for use in modern communications systems and other electronic equipment where protection against lightning and voltage surges is required.
Specified for its EMI filter and isolation capabilities, the SDC series meets all major safety standards, including UL, CSA, TUV and CCC.
According to DMTL, these class X1 Y1 and X2 Y2 ceramic disc capacitors can additionally be used as a line filter for interference suppression.
Insulation resistance is a minimum of 10,000MΩ at 500VDC, while dielectric strength can range from 2,600VAC to 4,000VAC for one minute.
