Aluminium electrolytic capacitors from TTI can be used in switching-mode power supplies
TTI Europe
FR series electrolytic capacitors
TTI is stocking Panasonic’s FR series ultra-low-ESR, long-life aluminium electrolytic capacitors for applications including switching-mode power supplies and switching-mode adapters.
By improving material technology, Panasonic claims that it has been able to increase lifetime by up to 100 per cent — to 10,000 hours at 105°C — over previous-generation products, as well as improving capacitance by up to 30 per cent.
Further applications for the capacitors include line-noise removal, LCD backlighting, LED systems and other products with long-lifetime requirements.
Key specifications
- Voltage range of 6.3–50V
- Capacitance range of 22–8,200uV
- Ripple current performance of up to 3,820mA
- ESR down to 12mΩ
- Sizes ranging from 5 x 11mm to 16 x 25mm
