Hamamatsu releases the G10518 photodiode receivers
Hamamatsu Photonics
G10518 series
Hamamatsu Photonics' G10518 series of 10Gbps Ingaas PIN photodiode receivers is mounted in industry-standard Rosa (receiver optical sub-assembly) packages.
The G10518 series features a high-speed response of up to 10.7Gbps, making it suitable for a variety of high-speed data-transmission applications such as SDH (STM-64 or SONET OC-192), 10Gbit Ethernet and storage-area networks.
Two sleeve diameters are available, 1.25 or 2.5mm, making the device compatible with a range of industry-standard transceiver package designs.
The G10518 series operates with a low-voltage supply (3.3V) and gives a clear open-eye response diagram.
The device provides a differential output signal, providing increased sensitivity and dynamic range for all 10Gbps applications.
