Hamamatsu introduces miniature UV fibre light
Hamamatsu Photonics
Hamamatsu L10671
Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced its L10671 miniature, high-power UV fibre light source, also known as the S2D2.
The model features a 10W deuterium lamp with a high stability of 0.004 per cent and its compact size (9 cm x 7 cm x 4 cm) makes it suitable for a range of portable instrumentation deployments.
In particular, the L10671 is suited to applied UV-VIS spectroscopy applications in the analytical, medical, biotechnology, industrial, environmental and agricultural field.
A complete spectroscopic measurement system can be achieved when used in combination with one of Hamamatsu's miniature fibre-optic UV spectrometer modules.
