Laser Components has introduced a low-cost polymer optical fibre (POF) for applications such as illumination, sensor technology and data transmission.
It is available as a bare fibre with cable diameters ranging from 250µm to 3,000µm.
According to the company, its POF fibre assemblies can be supplied with SMA, FC, ST or SC connectors.
