Cannon PHD optical interconnects
The series of Cannon PHD optical interconnects from ITT Interconnect Solutions are suitable for telecommunications, automotive systems, commercial aircraft, data-communications, industrial applications, medical products and military applications.
The series is based on an industry-standard 1.25mm ceramic ferrule and, according to the company, is flexible, scalable and easy to maintain.
Additionally, ITT says that the optical interconnects offer less insertion loss, a reduction in channel-to-channel variance and a higher return loss.
Systems can be provided for panel mounting, for backplanes and rack and panel designs, for interface with the standard MIL-C-38999 footprint and applications in outdoor and factory environments.
