NIR LED array suits space-critical applications
Opto Diode
LED array
Opto Diode has developed the OD-850-30-030, the first in a series of high-power LED arrays designed for night-vision systems and skin therapy applications.
The 30-die near-infrared (NIR) LED array delivers more efficient operation and higher power with a narrow beam angle of 30-deg.
The device has a peak wavelength of 850nm (minimum 840nm and maximum 865nm) and a total optical power output of 16W.
Thermal parameters for storage range from -40C to +125C, with operating temperature from -20C to +100C.
The maximum junction temperature is 125C with a thermal resistance, junction to case, of 0.8C/W.
