Manufactured by Knowledge-on of Korea, these LEDs are available in 5mm packages and are optimised to operate at either 850 or 875nm.
This family of devices have rise times as low as 10ns.
Two types of beam angle are offered, from narrow angle with +/-8 degrees to wide angle with +/-50 degrees.
These devices are ideal for use in wireless data transmission applications including IrDA.
