GPEG offers COG versions of its compact OLED displays, designed to fit into tight spaces
GPEG
FDO1602COG and FDO2020COG OLED modules
GPEG has introduced COG versions of its original 16x2 and 20x2 character OLED modules, which function as direct mechanical, electrical and software replacements for existing character LCD displays.
According to GPEG, the FDO1602COG and FDO2020COG are particularly suitable for modern designs in which space is limited.
On-board brightness is controlled electronically in 256 steps, while the COG modules’ interface and software requirements remain compatible with LCD module equivalents.
These features, claims GPEG, ensure that both existing LCD modules and new designs can benefit from the high contrast, wide viewing angle, low power consumption and colour choice of OLED technology.
Key specifications
