Photonic Products has a range of thermoelectrically cooled laserdiode modules offering exceptional wavelength and power stability(better than 1%), greater pointing accuracy and significantlyincreased laser diode lifetime.

The 300-0600-00 series ofthermoelectrically cooled laser diode modules produce anelliptical or circular output beam and output power of 1.5mW inthe 375nm ultraviolet wavelength band, 4 and 25mW in the 405nmviolet wavelength band, 4mW in the 440nm blue wavelength band,0.9 to 32mW in the 635nm red wavelength band, 50 to 55mW in the785nm infra-red wavelength band and 20 to 120mW in the 830nminfra-red wavelength band.

Designed for applications demandingconsistency and repeatability such as machine vision, alignment,industrial inspection, high-resolution printing, biomedicalinstrumentation, spectroscopy, microscopy and genomics, the TECmodules are compact, versatile and highly cost effective.

The TEClaser diode modules incorporate microprocessor based temperaturecontrol electronics, thermo electric cooler, heatsink and fanthat enable the laser diode temperature to be controlled to a setpoint temperature between +15 and +25C, (user adjustable), andwith a stability of +/-0.05C.

This accurate temperature control,together with user adjustment of the laser diode drive currentenables the laser to be tuned to a region where mode hopping andRMS noise are significantly reduced or eliminated.

Accuratetemperature control also produces excellent wavelength/powerstability and cooling the laser diode to the factory set 20Csignificantly increases laser diode lifetime.

All UV, violet,blue, red, and infrared TEC laser diode modules in the rangeoffer low and high temperature automatic shut-off protection,analogue and digital modulation capability and safety interlockas standard.
