Sanyo blue-violet laser diodes offer the performance required for industrial and medical applications such as biomedical instrumentation, medical imaging and fluorescence sensing.
Sanyo's tiny blue-violet laser diodes are now available in industrial strength and power.
The range includes three new 405nm laser diodes which offer 20, 45 or 85mW of optical output power, the highest power available in a single mode laser diode with an internal monitor photodiode.
This internal monitor photodiode, which can be used to accurately stabilise and control the optical output power, plus their stable beam structure, lower noise and lower current consumption, enables these new Sanyo blue-violet laser diodes to offer the performance required for critically demanding industrial and medical applications such as biomedical instrumentation, medical imaging, fluorescence sensing, high-resolution printing, advanced DVD and industrial alignment.
The DL-4146-101S gives 20mW optical output power with a threshold current of 26mA, a typical operating current of 35mA, an operating voltage of 4.8V and a monitoring output current of 0.2mA.
The DL-5146-101S offers 45mW power with a threshold current of 35mA, a typical operating current of 70mA, an operating voltage of 5.2V and a monitoring output current of 0.3mA.
The DL-7146-101S laser diode gives 85mW output power with a threshold current of 45mA, a typical operating current of 110mA, an operating voltage of 5.4V and a monitoring output current of 0.3mA.
All three laser diodes have an internal monitor photodiode, a tiny package size of 5.6mm and operate at a temperature of 0C to +75C.
