Blue TEC lasers
A new range of low-cost thermoelectrically cooled laser diode modules offer exceptional wavelength and power stability, greatly increased pointing accuracy and significantly extended laser diode life.
A new range of lower-cost thermoelectrically cooled (TEC) laserdiode modules offer exceptional wavelength and power stability(better than 1%), greatly increased pointing accuracy andsignificantly extended laser diode lifetime.
The new TEC laserdiode modules in the blue region of the spectrum produceelliptical output beams and output powers of 50mW at 405nm, 15mWat 440nm and 4mW at 473nm.
TEC modules can also be custommanufactured with virtually any laser diode in a 9 or 5.6mmpackage at nonstandard wavelengths or powers.
Prices have beenlowered significantly across the complete range of laser diodemodules.
Designed for applications demanding consistency andrepeatability such as industrial inspection, high-resolutionprinting, reprographics, biomedical instrumentation, spectroscopy, microscopy and genomics, the TEC modules arecompact, versatile and highly cost effective.
The modulesincorporate microprocessor based temperature control and laserdriver electronics, thermoelectric cooler, heatsink and fan thatenable the laser diode temperature to be controlled to a setpoint temperature between +18 and +25C (user adjustable), andwith a stability of +/-0.05C.
All TEC laser diode modules in therange offer low and high temperature automatic shutoffprotection, analogue and digital modulation capability and safetyinterlock, as standard.
