COIE team visits Electricx exhibition in Egypt

A team from the China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) visited the Electricx exhibition in Cairo in December 2008.
A number of companies, including Energya Industries, Elsewedy Cables, Elios Egypt and Egyled, attended the show, which was held at the Cairo International Convention Center in Egypt.
The CIOE team, which included its executive chairman and secretary-general, Yang Xiancheng, talked to exhibitors about optoelectronic development and the potential market for optical communications, optics, lasers and light-emitting diode (LED) lighting in Egypt.
With its economic development and urbanisation, Cairo's other related market demands are likely to be greatly extended in the coming years.
During the CIOE's visit, the team invited exhibitors to take part in CIOE 2009, where they will be able to showcase their optoelectronic products and technology.
