SMI range includes optical interconnect solution

The SMI all-in-one field termination tool provides a repeatable end-user field termination of the SMI connector.

In addition to the reusable precision blade, the tool allows for the crimping of the cable to the SMI connector for a complete field termination.

The SMI plastic optical interconnect solution from Molex includes SMI optoelectronic transceivers, adapters, connectors and cable assemblies, as well as complementary media converters and termination tooling.
