ITT Interconnect Solutions has released a robust, space saving version of its NRG sequential mating system, which at only 3.5in high is only half the height of its forerunner.
Presented in a 19in rack format, it guarantees the correct mating for a set of the company's Powerlock power distribution connectors.
The NRG 2U retains the patented cam action that ensures the proper sequence of ground, neutral, phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 is adhered to.
Ideal for use in applications such as concerts or other outside events, the NRG 2U includes, unlocking and locking keys, finger connected contacts and has a lid covering which gives environmental protection to IP67 standards.
This protection is applied both when the connectors are installed and when the lid is locked shut.
The NRG 2U is available in 400 or 660A with European, US and Australian colour coding, and the option of source or drain contacts.
Applications include special events - concerts, broadcasts, exhibitions - as well as energy generation.
