Quick-release terminals for testing or calibration
Quadrant Connections
Quick-release terminals
As UK agent and stocking distributor of Schutzinger, Quadrant is offering a range of quick-release terminals that are said to be suitable for testing or calibration procedures.
Quick and easy to use, solid or stranded wires can be simply connected between the sprung jaws of the terminal by pressing down the head of the terminal post.
The strong compression spring is claimed to guarantee good contact every time.
Various designs are available including shock-proof versions for applications with voltages above protected extra-low voltage (PELV) and terminals with a double aperture.
Because of the simplicity of connection, these terminals are particularly suitable for when rapid and repeated connection is required.
Schutzinger develops and manufactures a range of plugs and leads for the electrical laboratory and test industries, focusing on the use of lamella basket contacts that ensure excellent contact reliability and more than 10,000 mating cycles.
