Superspeed USB 3.0 connectors
Kycon has released a series of Superspeed USB 3.0 connectors targeted at applications that will benefit from high-speed data transfer, such as high-resolution web cams and surveillance cameras.
The KUSBX-xx1N9 series connectors are said to support data transfer rates up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 and are available in the UK from Toby Electronics.
Kycon's connectors meet the USB Implementers Forum's Superspeed USB specification.
This supports productivity interoperability with existing USB 2.0 products and allows users full duplex arrangement data flow.
Type A and Type B receptacles are offered by Kycon, both featuring the USB 3.0 blue insulation.
