Phihong has developed a compact, energy-efficient 20W interchangeable plug-adapter series.
The PSAA20R adapter series, available in single 12, 24 and 48V outputs, features interchangeable AC input clips, sold separately, which enable widespread compatibility and allow for the use of a single part number, simplifying OEMs' inventory and approval processes.
The PSAA20R adapter series is ideal for peripherals, network equipment, gaming machines and point-of-sale equipment.
It is also Energy Star Level V, EPS Version 2.0 compliant.
The PSAA20R adapters are compatible with products designed for use in US, European, UK and Australian markets.
They feature a maximum no-load power draw of 0.3W and an average operating efficiency of greater than 81 per cent.
PSAA20R adapters are also Class II double-insulated, meet Class B EMI standards and feature over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection.
Additionally, the 20W adapters bear cUL/UL, CE, SAA, and C-Tick safety markings and approvals.
The series is rated for operation from 0C to +40C.
The PSAA20R adapters measure 2.82 x 1.97 x 1.31in (71.7 x 50 x 33.3mm) and weigh 6oz (170g).
They terminate with a 2.1 x 5.5mm barrel output connector at the end of a 1.5m DC cord.
