Polamco backshells and caps
PEI-Genesis, an assembling distributor, is now stocking Polamco's ranges of connector backshells and protection caps.
This follows the company's worldwide franchise agreement with Polamco.
The 91-series screened backshells are available in both straight and right-angle versions for use with MIL-DTL-38999 and MIL-DTL-26482 military circular connectors.
All variants incorporate a constant-force spring to keep the braid in place, producing a 360-degree screen termination with electrical and mechanical characteristics that are unaffected by vibration, shock or extreme temperatures.
The springs come in five different sizes and can be installed, released and reused without the need for special tools.
Fully compatible with MIL-STD dimensions, the 91-series backshells are said to be manufactured to high-quality standards, with all parts machined from solid material.
Complementing the backshells are the 100P-series protection caps, which are available for both plug and receptacle versions of MIL-DTL-38999 and MIL-DTL-26482 connectors, with a choice of lanyard options.
PEI-Genesis can also supply any of Polamco's other standard backshells and accessories, as well as customised backshells to meet individual requirements.
