Locking system from Schurter prevents power cords from being unplugged from equipment
Schurter
V-Lock locking system
Schurter’s V-Lock locking system — which is designed to prevent the unintentional unplugging of power cords from equipment — is suitable for applications such as medical equipment, laboratory and analysis instruments, telecommunications and IT equipment, power outlet strips and TV and radio systems.
A variety of power sockets, power entry modules and country-specific power cords can be supplied as part of the system.
With V-Lock, the power socket is equipped with a pin that interlocks with a special notch in the plug on the power cord. The extraction force is a minimum of 200N. The lock is released by pressing a finger on the disengaging lever.
The V-Lock system is bright yellow in colour — a feature that is designed to make it easy to identify.
Key features
- 10A and 16A IEC equipment power couplings
- Power extension cables
