8DA series Micro38999 circular connectors
Souriau's 8DA series Micro38999 circular connectors, available from Lane Electronics, are suitable for military, aerospace and industrial applications.
The new screw-coupling connectors are designed for use in demanding environments.
The Micro38999 units enable size and weight savings of as much as 50 per cent when compared with regular MIL-DTL38999 Series III connectors.
The connectors can withstand vibration levels of up to 44Grms at a temperature of 125C for up to eight hours.
They incorporate removable crimp contacts that allow the connectors to be wired or unwired on site.
Up to 26 contacts can be accommodated in a choice of five layouts.
Products from Lane Electronics are available in cadmium, zinc cobalt and electroless nickel finishes, although the connectors can be supplied with non-reflective black zinc nickel protection to satisfy the latest RoHS directives.
