Cannon 2 MM Modular CBC 20
ITT Interconnect Solutions has added the ITT Cannon 2 MM Modular CBC 20 to its popular Tempus cable connector series.
It has a two-part modular plug and receptacle structure that offers the interconnect headroom necessary to expand as design requirements change.
Engineers will be able to use it to manipulate large amounts of data at greater speed in the layout of cable harnessing.
The standard four-row and five-row cable receptacles include all the components needed to assemble finished cable ends.
The four-row versions provide four x six and four x 12 contacts and the five-row versions can offer five x six and five x 12 contact versions.
It accommodates the most commonly used wire sizes (AWG 24 to 30) with insulation displacement contact.
The insulation displacement contact (IDC) design offers quick termination without the need for wire stripping.
The components are compatible with IEC 61076-4-104 backplane connectors and are suitable for use in telecommunication, industrial, medical and instrumentation applications.
ITT Cannon can also provide quick-turn and production capabilities for custom Tempus cable assemblies.
