Harwin Datamate S-Tek connectors
The Harwin Datamate S-Tek range of 2mm connectors, now stocked by Aerco, is designed for applications that require high levels of EMC, such as military, aerospace, industrial and control equipment.
Based on the Datamate J-Tek connectors, they are fitted with a single-piece machined metal backshell that provides 360deg electrical screening against RFI and EMI interference.
The S-Tek range is claimed to offer excellent design flexibility and is available in female cable-to-PCB-mount and female cable-to-panel-mount configurations in six-, 10-, 14-, 20- and 26-pole format.
Manufactured in aluminium alloy and nickel plated for electrical performance and corrosion resistance, S-Tek connectors are mechanically strong and easily assembled using industry-standard tooling.
They will accommodate a range of standard metallic braids and provide shielding for cable-to-board and panel-mount setups for all high-end EMI- and RFI-susceptible applications.
