Threaded nano circular connector
Omnetics Connector has unveiled a threaded nano circular connector aimed at applications requiring positive locking, including surveillance equipment, night-vision systems and aerospace equipment.
The threaded nano circular connector is extremely lightweight yet robust.
Features of the connector include ruggedised metal housing to the plastic insulators and Omnetics' split-end contact, the Nano Flex Pin, which exceeds the requirements of MIL-DTL 32139, ensuring long-term reliability.
The connector also ensures signal fidelity, even in environments of extreme shock and vibration, such as military aerospace applications, satellite systems and infantry field equipment.
It has a total mated length of 9mm and the range includes diameters from 3.1mm to 5.5mm.
It is available in six, 11, 16 and 28 position housing sizes with either pre-wired or solid straight tail terminations.
Polarised gold-plated contacts shrouded in Omnetics' liquid-crystal polymer housing to MIL-M-234519 enables the connector to withstand wide temperature variations from -55 to +125C and be capable of more than 2,000 mating cycles.
