FCT D-type connectors with filter
Aerco has announced that it now stocks filter versions of the FCT D-type connectors that are available in the same dimensions as the standard FCT non-filtered D-types.
The connectors use chip-on-board technology rather than tubular capacitors.
Selective filtering is possible with different values being provided on each contact and they are built with tin-plated, dimpled shells for handling high frequencies.
Available in nine-, 15- and 25-way, they are compatible with all standard D-type connectors and allow development of EMI/EMC-approved designs, providing protection against surges, conducted disturbances, induced or electrostatic disturbances and conducted emissions.
Also available are shielded plastic caps for dust and RF protection and metal or shielded-plastic hoods.
A crimping flange is available to complete shielding at the cable outlet of the connector shell.
