Designed to meet Ultra320 SCSI (SPI-4) specifications, the AMPbrand LVD/SE switchable SCSI terminator features a significantlyreduced size without compromising performance when compared withother terminator designs for similar applications.
The newterminator provides accurate bus termination for low voltagedifferential (LVD), single ended (SE) and multimode switchable(LVD/SE) SCSI bus systems.
The use of chip-on-board technologyensures higher reliability and about 40% reduction in size overexisting equivalent function terminators for LVD/SE applications. The terminator's printed circuit board layout guaranteescontrolled impedance for all signals and is engineered to IPCstandards.
Ideal for demanding environments, the terminator isthermally tested under worse case loading to 50C ambient airtemperature.
The terminator is attached directly to the ribboncable via an integrated industry standard IDC connector.
Inaddition, the new terminators are completely backwards compatiblewith previous SCSI signals.
