The new generation AMP Pace card edge connector is based on 0.1 x 0.2in (2.54 x 5.08mm) centrelines and accepts 0.054-0.070in (1.3716-1.778mm) daughter cards.

Eye-of-the-needle contactsaccommodate simple, solder-free press fitting into a printedcircuit board.
As this product is flat-rock compatible, nospecial tooling is required.
Next generation AMP Pace card edgeconnectors are suitable for computer boards, communicationequipment, industrial controls and machinery as well as testequipment and instrumentation.
The connectors are available in 10to 60 dual position sizes and have the same overall dimensionalenvelope as current AMP Pace connectors.
Contacts are rated for3A and 1000V AC withstand.
The housing is moulded fromglass-filled polyester, and the contacts are phosphor bronze withnickel underplating and select gold finish.
Contact insertionaverages 31N per contact.
