Mezza-pede SMT Connector
Advanced Interconnections has introduced a version of its Mezza-pede SMT Connector that features 36 positions.
The low profile Mezza-pede Connector system is designed for 1mm-pitch micro board-to-board and flex cable-to-board applications.
It has passed the mixed flowing gas (MFG) test and is suited for high reliability applications such as military and medical.
The patented pin and lead-frame design is fully surface mountable and features robust screw-machined terminals with multi-finger contacts - industry proven for superior reliability.
An over-moulded lead frame seals the surface-mount pins to prevent solder wicking and ensures a solid solder joint at the PCB level.
The Mezza-pede SMT Connectors are precision moulded from high temperature LCP.
They are RoHS compliant and are compatible with lead-free solder profiles.
Mezza-pede Connectors feature a mated height of only 4mm, making them suitable for mezzanine board applications where z-axis space is a constraint.
Other standard sizes include dual-row eight- and fourteen-position versions, with other pin-counts available on a customised basis.
The product is packaged in tape and reel for automated assembly.
