TE Connectivity has introduced a 0.25mm-pitch flexible printed circuit (FPC) connector, designed to contribute to the miniaturisation of consumer devices such as mobile phones and digital cameras.
Featuring a box-shaped, back-flip lock actuator and lower contact point, this fine-pitch FPC connector accommodates a pick-and-place nozzle and is claimed to be easy to actuate.
It is designed to accept a printed circuit at an angle rather than horizontally, allowing the FPC to be placed anywhere on a printed circuit and also enabling other components to be placed in front of it.
