GHG 758 bus-bar systems
Cooper Crouse-Hinds has launched a range of explosion-proof (Ex e) bus-bar systems for metal and moulded plastic enclosures.
Suitable for use in hazardous environments with extreme ambient conditions, the new GHG 758 bus-bar systems utilise undrilled clamp technology for the connection of cabling, thus enabling fast assembly and the efficient distribution of electrical energy, according to the company.
The new series of bus-bar systems can be used in conjunction with Cooper Crouse-Hinds’ GHG 619 range of modular enclosures and is said to be a cost-effective solution for many Ex e IIC applications.
Key specifications
- Operates in ambient temperatures from -55ºC to +55ºC
- Available in high-rated currents for 250A and 315A in Ex e-certified technology for Zone 1 hazardous areas
- Offers an increased length of usable bus-bar rail of up to 6,300mm
- Provides a high short-circuit rating of 47kA
