The cable systems are based around the company's micro and nano miniature connectors.
New capabilities include cables that can withstand disinfection and sterilisation fluids and processes commonly used in medical environments.
Omnetics offers design-in services to help customers select the most appropriate cable.
The company can advise on issues such as signal-management control, optimum wire size, EMI/RFI shielding and other noise-reduction techniques.
Issues such as flex life, tactile touch and feel qualities, tensile force, flexibility and other durability criteria can also be taken into consideration.
