Fischer Connectors has made a number of enhancements to its 1051 Triax connector, which now features a waterproof design.
The waterproof design ensures a reliable transmission between the camera and control unit in studios or broadcast vehicles where long cable lengths are used in extreme weather conditions, according to the company.
Fischer has also increased the bandwidth of the 1051 Triax connector and made cabling easier.
It is said to be both user friendly and simple to clean.
With an endurance of 5,000 mating cycles, the connector also withstands the handling abuse that is encountered in studies and at outside-broadcast events.
