HDMI Switching Matrix
The Chord Company is supplying its first ever electronic component, a HDMI Switching Matrix.
The HDMI Switching Matrix features three rear-mounted HDMI sockets and one mini HDMI socket on the front.
All four inputs can be separately routed to one of two HDMI outputs on the rear of the unit.
The input and output configuration can be selected either by controls on the front of the unit or via the supplied remote control.
Measuring 18cm wide, 11cm deep and 2.5cm high, the HDMI Switching Matrix is easy to locate and requires no programming.
The HDMI Switching Matrix has been designed and built to maximise audio and picture quality.
The unit will carry all signals up to 1080p and all currently available digital audio signals.
The Type C input on the front allows for the simple connection of the latest generation of high-definition camcorders.
The three Type A inputs on the back will provide connections for satellite, Freeview and freesat HD boxes, games units and DVD players.
To make connection as simple and as tidy as possible, Chord's HDMI 1.3 Silver Plus cable is also now available in 0.5m lengths.
