SL1203A ruggedised passive GPS antenna
Sarantel has announced the launch of the SL1203A ruggedised passive GPS antenna.
Based on the SL1200 series antenna, the SL1203A is provided in a rugged housing with male SMA connector for quick and easy connection.
It is designed to be used as an external antenna.
Sarantel said the SL1203A provides many benefits over conventional GPS antennas, including: omni-directional pattern and wide beamwidth to ensure reliable tracking of low elevation satellites; small near-field reducing the effect of body on antenna performance; self-filtering design enabling easy integration in applications with other radio and noise sources; and built-in DC block for direct connection to GPS receivers.
