SL3101 passive iridium antenni
Sarantel, a manufacturer of filtering antennas for mobile and wireless devices, has launched the SL3101 passive iridium antenna.
Built on the patented Powerhelix filtering antenna technology, the SL3101 iridium antenna provides high performance in challenging Iridium applications using an octafilar helix design, according to the company.
The device has a smaller form factor than traditional iridium antennas and maintains low elevation gain.
The balanced antenna offers isolation from the application and rejects common-mode noise.
The SL3101 enables tight embedding into applications with minimal effects from human body or metallic objects.
It is available in SMA Plug, TNC Jack and TNC Plug options.
