Premo offers RFID SMT antenna featuring protection for automotive applications
Premo
SDTR1103CAP
Premo has launched the SDTR1103CAP, an SMD antenna for low frequency 10-150kHz receiver applications that incorporates both external protection against mechanical risks and a mechanical decoupling structure to the ferrite core.
The SDTR1103CAP is claimed to offer excellent upper and lateral side protection with co-polyamide polyhexamethylene polymer walls, gamma radiated with high thermal stability (supports up to 290ºC) and mechanical resistance that exceeds 150Mpa if mechanical strength.
This antenna is equipped with NiZn ferrite core, whose high surface resistivity of > 10Mohm/mm is claimed to provide stable behaviour over a wide temperature range.
‘Super-Drop-Test-Resistant’ technology enhances its suitability for applications such as TPMS (Tyre pressure monitoring systems), which requires high performance under extreme conditions, according to AEC-Q200 and additional requirements as EU regulations.
