Premo antennas allow passive, keyless entry
Premo
KGEA-BFCAM antenna series
Premo has developed an emitter antenna series, the KGEA-BFCAM, for passive, keyless entry in automotive applications.
This low-profile emitter antenna has a combination of low- and high-frequency systems that allow a reduction in power consumption.
Operation is from 120 to 150kHz and temperature is -40 up to 85C.
The connector is located outside the plastic base.
Other features include: low tolerances in the resonance frequency LC (5 per cent typical, 2 per cent or less under demand); long reading distances and average current 2-4A.
The KGEA-BFCAM can be provided with a customised cable and connector.
Several combinations of inductance and capacitor values are offered as standard versions.
Any other combination can be provided and customised designs, depending on capacitor size, are available.
